Proyecto #37

Goal: Create video demonstrating Holiday Season traditions of a Latin American country. Work with a partner.
What to do
ð Choose a partner – No more than 1 group of 3.
ð Select a Spanish-Speaking Country to research. Spain does not count. RSVP on the board.
ð Individually, write a brainstorm paragraph on any holiday traditions you think the country has. Share your paragraph with your partner
ð You and your partner use a minimum of 4 websites to find information about Christmas/ Other holiday traditions of your selected country. Specifically, pay attention to
o Religious Traditions
o Holiday Foods
o Gift Giving
o Family/ Friendship values
o
ð Create a diagram comparing your information. Organize it in any way, except by source. You do not need to write a comparison paragraph, but make the diagram as detailed as you can
ð Using Windows Movie Maker or other video software, create a video showcasing the information you have found. This video you will present to the class, and must not be longer than 7 minutes. You will not speak during the presentation of your movie; all text must be clearly written on screen.
o Add instrumental music to the movie. This must reflect the country, the holiday season and/or Latin American culture. You may use multiple songs. You may not use Feliz Navidad.
